Refund application
To help us provide you with a better refund service you request, please let us know whether your travel plan has been affected. You can apply for waiver of refund charges under the「Special Ticketing Arrangements」 with the following situations.

1). Within 2 days before departure, flight delayed for more than 4 hours from scheduled departure time, or cancelled.

2). At more than 2 days from departure, flight delayed for more than 2 hours from scheduled departure time, or cancelled.

If your ticket does not fall into the above conditions, please apply for the Voluntary Refund Application.

Refund Application:
1. To ensure that your refund application is successfully submitted, please make sure that your ticket is still OPEN FOR USE, and that the ticket has not expired.
2. If you were planning to travel with children when you purchased your ticket, please be aware that flight safety regulations state that children under 12 may not travel unaccompanied; consequently, if an adult's ticket refund application makes it impossible for a child to travel, Hong Kong Airlines has the right to refuse to allow the child to board.
3. Please carefully read the refund instructions before submitting a refund application. Once you submit an application, the system will automatically cancel your seat reservation and refund your ticket. This process is irreversible, so please ensure that you check the refund application carefully before submitting.
4. Online refunds are not currently supported for tickets purchased more than 1 year ago. If you need a refund in such a situation, please email us at refund@hkairlines.com, and we will process your request as soon as possible.
5. Refunds are currently only supported for tickets that are completely unused. If you need any assistance, please email us at refund@hkairlines.com, and we will process your request as soon as possible.
6. Our website's refund application system currently only supports tickets issued through Hong Kong Airlines' official websites (including direct channels such as Qunar, Taobao, Ctrip, Skyscanner (Tianxun), Tuniu and Hangban Guanjia) and Hong Kong Airlines' official mobile portals (including the Hong Kong Airlines mobile app and mobile website (m.hongkongairlines.com), and the WeChat client). The system cannot process tickets issued through other agencies.
