Embark on a journey with the Embrace the World Student Sponsorship Programme brought to you by Hong Kong Airlines!

Hong Kong Airlines’ “Embrace the World” was first launched in 2014. To date, we have distributed thousands of tickets under this flagship CSR initiative. We are committed to nurturing the next generation by providing opportunities for youngsters to travel so that they can explore the world and expand their horizons. 

This season, we are delighted to partner with the Hong Kong International Airport to roll out 1,000 free round-trip tickets to school communities. By joining this programme, students are provided opportunities to enhance their educational experience through travelling. We believe that learning beyond the classroom helps students to appreciate different cultures and the bigger world that they live in.

Prize

A total of 1,000 round-trip tickets sponsored by Hong Kong International Airport to be distributed to the local school communities.

Eligibility

To maximise the impact of this remarkable opportunity, The Embrace the World Student Sponsorship Programme strives to inspire students to think, learn and contribute their valuable ideas to the community. We encourage schools to design and lead impactful extra-curricular activities that complement their educational journey.

Schools are required to submit a detailed project proposal covering various themes, such as Chinese history and culture, innovation and technology, as well as citizenship and social development.

The sponsored tickets are valid for Beijing and Shanghai routes. The allocation of free tickets will operate on a first-come-first-served basis.

Feedback

Upon completion of the programme, sponsored schools are required to create and submit a travel vlog within one month of returning to Hong Kong. This vlog should showcase the students' adventures, highlight the extra-curricular activities, and capture their overall experience of participating in this programme. Share the excitement, the learning, and the cultural exchange that occurred during the journey.

All participants are encouraged to use #hashtags and share their reflections on social media platforms. Let their posts inspire others to embrace the world and embark on their very own educational adventures.
