Terms and conditions 

1. This promotion is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOC”) Hong Kong Airlines Visa Card to make any eligible transaction via Hong Kong Airlines official website or mobile application and earning extra FWC points (“the Campaign”), you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Campaign is only applicable to principal Cardholders (“the Cardholders”) who holds a valid BOC Hong Kong Airlines Visa Card. The Cardholders are entitled to join the Campaign for any purchase from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) (“Period”).
3. The Cardholders purchasing Hong Kong Airlines economy and/or business class (if applicable) one-way and/or round trip (if applicable) air tickets through Hong Kong Airlines official website or mobile application during the Period by BOC Hong Kong Airlines Visa Card are entitled to earn extra FWC points.
4. The Cardholders may enjoy this Campaign with a maximum of once per month, up to 12 times for the Period.
5. Extra FWC points are calculated based on Net Spending Amount (as defined in clause 7 below) in a single transaction. The Cardholders shall earn extra 1,500 FWC Points for Net Spending Amount of HK$1,000 or above (or equivalent foreign currency).
6. The Cardholders need not be passengers or one of the passengers of the corresponding booking.
7. Net Spending Amount means total amount (including taxes and surcharges but excludes those collected by government or airport during check in) to be charged in each booking.
8. In the event that the air ticket is not purchased during the Period and requested for reissuance during the Period, passengers are not eligible for extra FWC points.
9. Extra FWC points is regarded as award points. Extra FWC points is not eligible to upgrade or retain FWC Elite membership status. Extra FWC points will be credited to FWC members' accounts within 8 to 12 weeks upon the eligibility of the transaction(s) has been verified and confirmed.
10. In the event air ticket is cancelled or changed to another date which does not fall within the Period, extra FWC points will not be awarded and the credited extra FWC Points will be deducted directly from the FWC members' accounts without prior notice.
11. If the Cardholders request refund or partial refund of the purchased air ticket or products no extra FWC points will be awarded.
12. Fraud or abuse will result in forfeiture of a Cardholder's eligibility for the Campaign and may result in cancellation of the Cardholder's credit card(s). Hong Kong Airlines further reserves the right to deduct any relevant amount under the Campaign directly from the relevant credit card account without prior notice.
13. In case of any dispute in relation to the eligibility of the extra FWC points, Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right at any time during or after this promotion to request the Cardholders to submit the relevant original sales receipts, official payment records and/or such further documents or evidence as may be required for inspection and verification.
14. Hong Kong Airlines will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer, mobile or internet network issues.
15. This Campaign cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions.
16. The General Conditions of Carriage published by Hong Kong Airlines apply (subject to change from time to time) and are available on Hong Kong Airlines website. Other terms and conditions on Hong Kong Airlines website also apply. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of booking.

23. In the event of any dispute regarding any of the Terms and Conditions, the decision of Hong Kong Airlines shall be final.
24. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Designated Check-in Counter

1. Eligible cardholders who are travelling on flights marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines departing from Hong Kong may check in at the designated check-in counter with a maximum of one companion.
2. Eligible cardholders must present their tickets and BOC Hong Kong Airlines Visa Card when they check in.
3. Accompanied companion must travel on the same flight with the cardholders.
4. If your credit card account is closed for any reason, these benefits will be cancelled.
5. Hong Kong Airlines reserves all the rights to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
6. In the event of any dispute regarding any of the Terms and Conditions, the decision of Hong Kong Airlines shall be final.
