Welcome to our tutorial on the Self-Check-in system at Hong Kong International Airport. This user-friendly and efficient solution allows you to quickly complete your check-in and luggage process, maximizing your time at the airport. We will guide you through the process in six simple steps and help you enhance your travel experience. Let's get started and make your check-in process a breeze!

Step 1

Upon arrival at the airport, locate one of the vacant smart check-in kiosks. These kiosks are conveniently placed in Aisle K and are easily recognizable.

Step 2

Retrieve your booking at the kiosk by choosing one of the following options:

1.      Travel Document

2.      Flight Number

3.      Ticket Number

4.      Mobile Boarding Pass (For Online Check-in Passengers Only)

Step 3

Once your flight information is displayed, follow the on-screen instructions to select your seat. The system will then allow you to print your boarding pass and bag tag.

Step 4

Securely attach the luggage tag to your check-in baggage. Ensure that the bag tag is clearly visible and easily identifiable.

Step 5

Proceed to the assigned Self Bag Drop Counter and place your bag onto the luggage belt.

Step 6

A facial scan will be performed to verify your identity. Once verified, the bag will be automatically sent to the plane for loading.
