Assistant Manager, Corporate Crisis & Risk
(HKA/COM/0419_AMCCR)     Department:  Corporate Safety    Time:  2018-04-19

Responsibilities 

  • Maintain the HKA Corporate Crisis Management Program according to industry best practice and ensure the Crisis Management Manual is updated and diseminated
  • The Manager Corporate Crisis is also the designated Emergency Response Manager and has the authority to manage and be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the corporate ERP. 
  • Responsible for the Emergency Planning aspects of IOSA accreditation and ad hoc regulatory audits/inspections.
  • Conduct training and briefings in Crisis Management to key company representatives and station staff.
  • Leadership role in developing, maintaining and monitoring the Crisis Management response throughout the system network.
  • Liaise with HKCAD and HK Airport Authority on matters relating to Crisis Management and Emergency Planning.
  • Provide the point of expertise to Senior Management, Hong Kong Departments and the network on Crisis Management and Emergency Planning related issues.
  • Responsible for the management and upkeep of the Crisis Management Centre.
  • Represent HKA at Crisis Management / Emergency Response conferences and workshops.

 

Requirements 

  • University education 
  • At least 10 years relevant crisis management/emergency response experience and 5 years aviation management experience in a similar role 
  • Certification in Crisis Management / Emergency Planning (i.e IATA, ICAO etc)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the airline and regulatory bodies
