Infants

To check the applicable infant fare, infant seat availability and make a booking, please call our Customer Services Centre for assistance. Please note that there is limitation to the number of infants that can be accepted on each flight due to safety reason and infant is currently not accepted to travel in business class cabin of aircraft type A350.

Infant ticket is usually calculated from a discount applied to an adult ticket. If the adult ticket fare of the accompanying adult does not offer an infant discount, the next higher fare that offers the discount will be used as the base for calculation. Calculation of infant ticket price is subject to the law of the country applicable to the ticket being issued.

The infant passenger must be under 24 months throughout the whole journey. Infants who reach their second birthday after their outbound flight must purchase a child ticket.

The infant ticket also subject to fare rules and conditions.

If passengers carry two infants on board, one of the infants must reach 6 months old, pay the applicable child fare and travel using the Hong Kong Airlines’ approved car-type safety seat. The other infant will be charged infant fare.

FAQ FOR CORPORATE PREFERRED

The Program is offered by Hong Kong Airlines Ltd. to company registered in Hong Kong. While traveling on Hong Kong Airlines, company can be rewarded if they have sufficient annual net flown revenue.
The Program is available to companies registered in Hong Kong, except travel agent, ticket brokerage firm & consolidator.
No, it’s a free program and no minimum spending is required.
Please prepare below documents and email to Hong Kong Airlines Corporate Sales Team at corporate.smc@hkairlines.com for registration:
1. Copy of Business Registration Certificate under registration in Hong Kong
2. Business Card under the corporation’s representative
3. Completed application form with contact details of your Travel Agents (Max 3, if applicable)

Only ONE application will be accepted from each company business registration number (BR number).
Maximum 3 local travel agencies (registered in Hong Kong) can be appointed to handle and record your company ticket issuance.
Successful applicants will receive an email confirmation with program effective date sent by Hong Kong Airlines. (Cut-off date for enrolment is 15th by every month for the program to be effective on 1st day in upcoming month)
The program lasts for 12 months from the effective date created/renewed that is ending on the last day of the month (i.e., if activation date is made on 1st June, 2020, the company’s program will expire on 31st May, 2021)
As spending is accumulative during the contract year, so your company will be able to upgrade to the next tier. After the end of the contract year, your spending will be re-calculated.

The eligible travel spending is based on “Net Flown Revenue”* for Hong Kong Airlines and is counted only if the ticket be:

2. A valid Corporate Preferred Program Code (CPCODE) identifier in endorsement box corresponding to the company to which it is assigned must be input properly by travel agent and/or CPCODE must be input properly while booking via https://www.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/hx/homepage .
3. Issued tickets for flight departing from Hong Kong to any HX operated destinations and point of sales in Hong Kong.(Codeshare flights and charter flights are excluded)
4. Not belongs to Hong Kong Airline’s Airpass, or group booking product.
^{*“Net flown revenue” is the revenue generated from airline tickets received by Hong Kong Airlines, after deducting all applicable agency commissions, credit card commissions, surcharges, taxes, and endorsements.}
A reward email will be send to awarded. Collection of the Rewards must be done at the Hong Kong Airlines Ticketing Office within 3 months by presenting a valid reward email and company chop, expired redemption period will result in the automatic forfeiture of the benefits concerned.

Terms and Conditions

The Corporate Preferred 2023 (“the Programme”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Programme, you shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
The Programme commences in September 2023.
The participating companies (“Company”) shall submit copies of the following documents accompanying with their application forms (“Form”) to elitecorporate@hkairlines.com:-
1. a valid Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Companies Registry of Hong Kong;
2. business cards of the Company representative(s);
3. nomination of the Company traveller staff list (“Eligible Company Traveller Staff”); and
4. travel record of the past 12 months (if any).
The Company shall not be the followings:-
1. travel agent registered under Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong;
2. ticket brokerage firm/consolidator;
3. organizations involved in Hong Kong Airlines (“HKA”)’ marketing, promotions, advertising or consulting activities; or
4. the parties to the Corporate Travel Agreement with HKA.
The Company shall provide the following information in the Form:-
1. appoint no more than 3 travel agents registered under Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong. Any change of the agents shall notify HKA within 30 days of such change; and
2. nominate at least 1 contact person as Company representative(s) in which he/she must hold a managerial position or above with the Company.
Any change of the Eligible Company Traveller Staff list shall notify HKA within 30 days of such change.
By submitting the Form (including the accompanying documents), the Company agrees with the Privacy Policy of HKA which is available at http://www.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/legal.
Once the application has been approved, an unique CP CODE will be assigned.
There is a maximum of 5 travellers per booking.
During the Programme, the Eligible Company Traveller Staff shall issue ticket(s) for economy class and/or business class for flights departing from Hong Kong to all destinations which are marketed and operated by HKA subject to availability, via the appointed travel agents and/or the HKSAR-English and HKSAR-Traditional Chinese locales of HKA official website (hongkongairlines.com). The travel period of the air ticket should be 6 months from date of purchase. It is the responsibility for the Company to ensure that the assigned travel agents and/or the Eligible Company Traveller Staff insert the assigned CP CODE accurately during booking. Codeshare flights and charter flights are excluded.
The Company may entitle to receive the following benefits according to the Eligible Company Traveller Staff’s net flown revenue (“NFR”), which is classified into 3 tiers according to the travel minimum spending amounts. Details of which are as follows:-

Accelerate membership program serves as a membership for individuals. Members may enjoy below benefits within 12 months while traveling on Hong Kong Airlines flights:-
1. Check in at Priority check-in counter
2. Priority baggage handling
3. Free extra legroom seat at check-in counter (subject to seat availability)
4. Boarding at Priority Channel
The travel minimum spending amount counts from the date of notification of successful application for one calendar year (“Period”). If such amount is less than HK$50,000, the Company is not entitled to any benefits. The travel minimum spending within the Period is accumulative, for instance, if the Company accrues HK$120,000 in the Period, it will be entitled to the benefits of both Tier 1 and Tier 2. Once the Company has achieved the revenue target of each Tier, HKA will offer TWO (2) promotion code to the Company’s account. Promotion code is subject to their terms and conditions.
The benefits listed in clause 11 above are subject to the quota of 1,000 in total and shall also subject to availability in both the seat and route at the material time, which will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Net Fare Rate (NFR) is calculated by reference to the total sum of fares less all applicable items include, but no limited to agency commissions, credit card fees, surcharges, taxes and. The NFR cannot be carried forward after the Period.
No retrospective calculation on NFR for tickets issued prior to the Period.
The application of the Programme shall come into force until terminated by HKA. HKA reserves the right to terminate the Programme at any time for any reason without prior notification to the Company.
The monthly cut-off date of each application is 15^th calendar day of each month, with the result to be announced on the 1^st calendar day of the following month. Any applications submitted after the monthly cut-off date shall fall on the next monthly cut-off date.
Any changes on the bookings and/or tickets should be made via original sales channel.
The passenger(s) must work with the Company and be the Eligible Company Traveller Staff by the time of travel but he/she does not necessarily be the nominated Company representative(s). Any accompanying passenger who does not work with the Company shall not be counted for the purpose of accrual of annual minimum spending.
Due to administrative process, the NFR report may not be ready upon expiry of the Period. Please contact Hong Kong Airlines corporate sales team by elitecorporate@hkairlines.com if you have queries on this Programme.
If the Company is eligible for any of the benefits as outlined in clause 11, HKA shall send an email to the Company for redemption of the corresponding benefits within 90 days from the date of NFR report.
The Company shall apply to redeem the corresponding benefits at HKA Ticketing Office within 3 calendar months from the date of the redemption email by presenting its authorized company chop. Uncollected benefits after such deadline shall be forfeited without further notice.
The benefits in clause 11 are non-redeemable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
The Programme is not valid in conjunction with any other offers/promotions of HKA.
Nothing in the Terms and Conditions shall confer any third party rights or benefits.
The General Conditions of Carriage published by HKA apply (subject to change from time to time) and are available on HKA's website.
HKA reserves all the rights to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
In case of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
In the event of any dispute regarding any of the Terms and Conditions, the decision of HKA shall be final.
The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

1. The promotion code for ‘HK$150/$300 rewards’ is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing Hong Kong Airlines (HX) air ticket and applying the exclusive and designated promotion code as distributed by Hong Kong Airlines (“the Code”) from 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2025 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) (“Period”) via Hong Kong Airlines official website, you shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Code is valid for any six months from the date of issue during the Period. The Code can only be used once.
3. The Code is applicable for Hong Kong Airlines (HX) economy class and/or business class (if applicable), roundtrip air ticket originating from Hong Kong to all destinations via HKSAR-English locale or HKSAR-Traditional Chinese locale of Hong Kong Airlines official website (but not applicable to multi-stop flights).
4. The Code is applicable for HK$150 discount of economy class booking for net fare over HK$1,000, and HK$300 discount of business class booking for net fare over HK$3,000.
5. Air ticket purchased with application of the Code is valid on selected flights and dates. No-show fee, re-booking fee, re-routing fee and refund fee are subject to fare rules as applicable to each destination.
6. The Code is applicable to flights marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines (HX) only. Not available for special flights, chartered flights or code-share flights.
7. The Code can only be applied to the net fare of the air ticket but not include the applicable government and airport taxes/fees/charges, fuel surcharge(s) and carrier surcharge(s).
8. The Code should be inserted at the time of purchasing the air ticket via the Hong Kong Airlines official website; otherwise the Code cannot be redeemed and unable to enjoy the discount.
9. The Code is only available for Hong Kong Airlines official website and shall be settled in its local currency.
10. Hong Kong Airlines will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
11. Bookings are not completed or accepted by Hong Kong Airlines until payment has been received and a booking reference has been issued.
12. The Code cannot be refunded, redeemed for cash, credits, other goods or services. No change will be given.
13. The air ticket with the Code is subject to Hong Kong Airlines’ booking agreement and may change without prior notice.
14. The application of the Code is subject to change without prior notice and liability.
15. Fortune Wings Club (FWC) members are eligible for FWC points accrual. Points credit will be based on actual flown distance and booking class and is subject to FWC’s terms and conditions which is available at https://www.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/FFP/member-privileges/clubtiers.
16. The application of the Code only applies to adult and child (aged 2 or above and below 12) tickets. For infant tickets (aged below 2) which are not occupying seats, please contact the Customer Service Centre for more information.

21. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
22. In the event of any dispute regarding any of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Hong Kong Airlines shall be final.
23. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
