Product Overview

The Hong Kong Airlines “HKA Choice Travel Pass” is newly launched and designed for travellers who frequently commute between Hong Kong and designated cities. The product will be available for a limited‑time purchase every Tuesday via the Hong Kong Airlines mobile application, mobile website and WeChat Mini Programme. Upon successful purchase, passengers will be entitled to four one‑way ticket redemptions on designated routes within the validity period of the product, offering greater flexibility and exceptional value. Availability is limited and offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis!

 

Sales Period: 23 December 2025 to 18 February 2026 (limited‑time sales every Tuesday at 10:00 AM Hong Kong Time; sales dates may vary by route and are subject to the actual display on the platform).

Redemption Period: Please refer to the table below (varies by route).

Eligible Traveller Type: Adult.

Free Checked Baggage Allowance: One piece up to 23kg.

Applicable Travel Type: One‑way (OW).

Redemption Entitlement: Four one‑way ticket redemptions.

Average ticket value per redemption:

  1. CNY 560 tier: RMB 140 per ticket
  2. CNY 800 tier: RMB 200 per ticket
  3. CNY 1,480 tier: RMB 370 per ticket

Redemption Period: 8 December 2025 – 18 February 2026 (varies by route; ticket redemptions may begin immediately upon purchase, subject to flight availability.

 

Purchase Travel Pass Procedures:

  1. Click on [Mine], then click on the gear icon in the upper right corner, select Chinese Mainland-Simplified Chinese/Hong Kong-Traditional Chinese/Hong Kong-English, and then select Chinese Yuan (CNY) as the payment currency.
  2. Click [Travel Pass] on the main page
  3. Select departure city on the upper left corner and the Travel Pass you wish to purchase
  4. Review product information and terms, then click [Buy Now]

Ticket Redemption Procedures:

  1. Click [Mine] at the bottom right
  2. Tap [Travel Pass Orders], select the pass you want to redeem, then click [Redeem]
  3. On the passenger binding page, add a new passenger or select an existing one
  4. Select departure city, arrival city, travel date, then click Search
  5. Choose the suitable flight, fill in passenger details, then pay all applicable airport construction fees, government and airport taxes/fees/charges, fuel surcharges, other charges and service fees to confirm your booking

    1. The HKA Choice Travel Pass (“the Product”) is a multiple-trips special offer launched by Hong Kong Airlines. Passengers may use this product to redeem tickets for designated routes within the validity period and allowed number of trips.
    2. Each passenger may purchase up to five HKA Choice Travel Pass at the same time.
    3. Each “HKA Choice Travel Pass” has a designated price and route combination (560/800/1480). After purchase, redemption is only allowed for one-way tickets corresponding to the eligible routes associated with that price.
    4. Product prices do not include fuel surcharges. Passengers must pay any applicable airport construction fees, government and airport taxes/fees/charges, fuel surcharges, and other charges/service fees at the time of ticket redemption in order to confirm ticket bookings.
    5. This product is subject to blackout dates; tickets may not be redeemed for travel on blackout dates.

    Blackout dates for Chinese Mainland departures: December 25, 2025 – January 5, 2026

    Blackout dates for Hong Kong departures: December 18, 2025 – January 5, 2026

    1. This product is only applicable to designated Hong Kong Airlines routes and flights.
    2. Once a passenger is bound to the Travel Pass, the passenger information cannot be changed or added.
    3. If the product is purchased but no tickets are redeemed, a full refund may be requested via the “Travel Pass Orders” section in the Hong Kong Airlines app.
    4. If tickets have been redeemed but the flight schedule is changed or the flight is delayed/canceled due to weather or typhoon reasons, passengers may apply for a return of the trip quota through the “Special Refund Application” in the Hong Kong Airlines app (processed within one working day).
    5. If a passenger does not show up for a flight (NOSHOW), the ticket is void and, subject to circumstances, only government taxes other than the fuel surcharge may be refunded.
    6. Once the Travel pass is used to redeem tickets, voluntary refunds are not supported, regardless of whether the ticket is used. If a trip is redeemed, the remaining balance cannot be refunded.
    7. If payment is not made online immediately, the booking will not be reserved.
    8. This product does not participate in Fortune Wings Club mileage accrual, qualifying segments, or qualifying points.
    9. Fortune Wings Club VIP members will continue to enjoy VIP privileges matching their membership status when traveling with the club.

    12. This product is subject to the general conditions of carriage (passenger and baggage) published on the Hong Kong Airlines official website (subject to change from time to time).
    13. In the case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms, the English version shall prevail.
    14. In the event of ambiguity between the terms and conditions, Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right of final decision and modification of these terms without prior notice.
