Requirements for transit service at Hong Kong International Airport

Transit services at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will resume in phases from 1 June 2020. Hong Kong Airlines passengers in transit through Hong Kong must ensure they comply with the latest transit requirements before they travel:
- Both flights are under the same air ticket
- Fulfil the entry requirements of their final destination
- Onward boarding passes to be printed at the check-in counter of the origin airport and baggage checked through to final destination
- Connecting time is within 24 hours
Transfer service at HKIA for passengers travelling from Mainland China has resumed from 15 August until further notice while transit services to destinations in Mainland China remain unavailable.
Sea-to-air transfer ferry service from Shenzhen Shekou Port to SkyPier of HKIA resumes from 28 October 2020. Air-to-sea ferry services and other ferry services from Mainland China and Macao ports remain unavailable.
