No. Flexi Refund is only applicable to “Basic” and“Main” Economy Class Fare options and Business Class tickets. Flexi Refund is not applicable to the“FlexiPlus” Economy Class fare option and a combination of fare options with “Main” and “FlexiPlus”. Moreover, Flexi Refund does not apply to certain offers and special promotions.
No. You can only enjoy a full ticket refund when you submit your refund application BEFORE the Flexi Refund deadline. You will be charged a refund fee according to the original fare rules at the time of purchaseif you submit your refund application later than the deadline.
It varies depending on your flight and destination. Deadline of Flexi Refund will only be shown during ticket booking. Please be aware of the deadline during booking. Flexi Refund is attached to the original ticket at the time you purchased. In the event of a voluntary ticket change, Flexi Refund will no longer be valid.

No. Only the ticket fare will be refunded to the passenger if the ticket is within the full refund period. All value-added services, processing Fee, and Flexi Refund fee will not be refunded.
This Flexi Refund Service (“Service”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing the Service, you shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
The Service is only available for passenger who purchased one-way and/or round trip “Basic” and “Main” Economy Class fare option and Business Class tickets for flights with selected origin/destination while booking via Hong Kong Airlines’official website. Service is not applicable to “FlexiPlus” Economy Class fare option and combination of fare option with “Main” and “FlexiPlus”. If the Service is available for your selected tickets, it will be displayed during the booking process.
The Service applies for a full refund of ticket (Flexi Refund fee, Processing fee (if any) and others value-added service are not included) within the service deadline (14 days or more prior to the first flight sector scheduled flight departure time, actual deadline will be displayed at the time of ticket purchase) via Refund Application. Original ticket fare rule applies after the deadline. No-show fee, re-booking fee and refund fee of the air tickets are subject to fare rules as applicable to each origin/destination.
The Service fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event of voluntary ticket change, the Service will no longer be valid.
The price of the Service is based on the selected origin/destination at the time of ticket purchase and subject to currency fluctuation.
The Service is only available for flights marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines (HX). Not available for special flights, chartered flights, interline flights or codeshare flights.
