1.1 How to become a Fortune Wings Club(FWC) member?
You can apply for Fortune Wings Club by completing an online application form on Hong Kong airlines official website or download Hong Kong airlines application on APP store or Google play.
To ensure that you can successfully earn points and redeem rewards, please fill in the same name and travel number as your travel document.
*There is no need to enter a space or symbol for the name. (For example, if the name on the Passport is CHAN TAI-MAN TOM, please enter CHAN as the Last Name and TAIMANTOM as the First Name.
1.2 Is there a minimum age requirement to join Fortune Wings Club (FWC)?
Member must be 2 years old or above. (Parental or legal guardian consent is required for persons under 18 years).
1.3 Can I accumulate or combine FWC points with my friends?
No, FWC points from different member accounts cannot be combined or accumulated.
1.4 Is there any membership fee or joining fee?
No. It is FREE of charge.
1.5 When will I receive my Fortune Wings Club (FWC) membership card?
You will receive a physical membership card once you have upgraded to Elite member (i.e. Platinum, Gold, Silver), we will send the membership card to your mailing address within 4-6 weeks.
Please make sure that your mailing address is up to date. You can also login to Hong Kong Airlines website or Hong Kong Airlines mobile APP to update your mailing address at any time.

2.1 How do I change my name in my FWC membership profile?
To change the name of your Fortune Wings Club account, please email ffp@hnair.com with one of the following documents for verification:
· Passport copy with the specified changes indicated
· Deed poll
· Marriage certificate
*The name on your profile must the same as the name on your travel documents.
2.2 How do I change my travel document information, phone number, email and other personal information in the Fortune Wings Club (FWC) account?
You can login to your FWC account on the Hong Kong Airlines website, click on “Profile”, and click on the tab on “Personal information” to edit your personal information.
2.3 What can I do if I have lost my Fortune Wings Club (FWC) Membership card?
To ensure your personal interest, please contact us immediately once you have lost your membership card.

2.4 What if I have forgotten my login password or my membership number?
You can simply reset your password by clicking "Forgot password" or retrieve your card number by clicking “Forgot Card number” at Hong Kong Airlines website. Your password or Card number will be sent to your registered email address or mobile.
If you do not receive the system email, please contact us for assistance.

2.5 What can I do if I cannot login with my password?
Please do not enter any spaces when entering your membership number or password.
If the problem persists, please contact us for assistance. Please provide your personal details for verification.

2.6 How can I terminate my account?
FWC members can login to the Hong Kong Airlines APP and click on “Fortune Wings Club”> “Member Profile”> “Edit”> “Cancel account”, and then follow the steps to complete the application. We will contact you within 15 working days for processing account cancellation. Please note that once your Fortune Wings Club account is cancelled, you will not be able to reactivate your account and restore your original points.
3.1 When is the expiry date of my FWC points?
Your FWC points will be expired in 24 months from your last transaction date. If you don’t have any transactions in 24 months, your points will be expired and forfeited. Forfeited points cannot be renewed but your account will be maintained.
If there are any new transactions within validity period, the expiry date of all your points will be automatically extended 24 months from the new transaction date.

3.2 Where can I find my FWC Points transaction, balance or expiry date?
Simply login at our HKA website or Hong Kong airlines App to view details of your account balance and latest transaction.
4.1 Will I receive a paper Account Statement?
No, but you can access and print your transaction online.
4.2 Can I have my Account Summary emailed to more than one email address?
No, to protect your account & privacy, your Account Summary will only be sent to the registered email address.
4.3 What if I do not receive my Account Summary?
There may be different reasons why you did not receive your online Account Summary.
4.4 What if I had changed my email address/ mailing address/ contact number?
You can login to your FWC account on the Hong Kong Airlines website, click on “Profile”, and click on the tab on “Personal information” to edit your personal information.
5.1 Can I receive FWC Points for travel or transactions completed before my enrollment with Fortune Wings Club?
Flights prior to membership enrollment are not eligible for accrual.
5.2 What is “Status Qualifying Points (SQP)”, “ Status Qualifying Segments (SQS)” and “Awards Points”?
- Status Qualifying Points (SQP):
Members can earn SQP by flying with Hong Kong Airlines, member airlines of Fortune Wings Club and dedicated partner airlines. SQP are calculated based on the flying distance and the ticket fare class. SQP only count towards FWC membership renewal/upgrade, but not available for award redemption.
- Status Qualifying Segments (SQS)
Members can earn SQS by flying with Hong Kong Airlines, member airlines of Fortune Wings Club and dedicated partner airlines. SQS are calculated based on the ticket fare class. SQS only count towards FWC membership renewal/upgrade, but not available for award redemption.
- Award Points
Members can earn Award Points by flying with Hong Kong Airlines, member airlines of Fortune Wings Club and all partner airlines. Also, you can earn Award Points through daily activities, such as spending with our co-branded credit cards, booking hotels online, renting cars etc. You can redeem air tickets, upgrades and lifestyle awards with your Award Points.
5.3 How do I know if the ticket I bought can earn FWC points?
Points accrual is based on the flying distance and the fare class booked which shown on the air-ticket. Not all fare classes are eligible for FWC Points. Redemption tickets, award tickets, group tickets, discounted or restricted tickets are ineligible for earning points.

5.4 How many FWC Points can I earn for my flight?
Use the “Earn Table” at HKA website and calculate the FWC Points you can earn on eligible flights.
5.5 My ticket is not eligible for earning FWC Points but do I still earn Status Qualifying Segments?
If your ticket is ineligible for earning Fortune Wings Points, it is also ineligible for earning Status Qualifying Segments.
5.6 I just bought my ticket, why have the FWC Points not been credited to my account?
FWC Points will be credited to your account after complete travel of each flight. No FWC Points will be credited for unused or refunded tickets. Please ensure that you quote your Fortune Wings Club membership number during flight reservation and check-in for Points to be credited to your Fortune Wings Club account. Also, please ensure you have travelled with eligible fare classes.
5.7 Once I have completed my journey, when will I receive the FWC Points?
If you have travelled with eligible fare classes, points will be credited to your Fortune Wings Club account within 4-6 weeks. Please raise missing claim within 6 months from your flight date if you did not find the Points in your account.
5.8 Why have not my FWC Points been credited to my account even though I quoted my membership number during flight reservation and presented my membership card at check-in?
This could be due to different reasons such as name mismatches, membership number mismatches, ineligible fares and system irregularities. It is also possible that your flight is not eligible for earning Fortune Wings Points – please visit our HKA website for eligibility.
To avoid missing Points due to name mismatches, please make sure that the name on your passport and ticket match with the one in your profile.
5.9 How can I claim missing Points for my recent flights?
If you did not provide the membership number when booking air tickets or checking in, you still can redeem the FWC points in your account. Login to your membership account on the HKA website and click on “Points” and click on the tab “Manage My Points”, and then follow the steps to complete the “Claim Points” application within 3 days to 180 days after travel is completed. If the application is successful, the FWC points will be credited to your account within 4 to 6 weeks.
Flights prior to membership enrollment are not eligible for accrual.
5.10 How can I earn my reward Points from FWC Member airlines?
You can login to your membership account on the Hong Kong Airlines website and click on “Points” and click on the tab “Manage My Points”, and then follow the steps to complete the “Claim Points” application within 3 days to 180 days after travel is completed. If the application is successful, the FWC points will be credited to your account within 4 to 6 weeks.
Flights prior to membership enrollment are not eligible for accrual.
5.11 How can I earn my reward Points from other Airlines partners (i.e. Alaska Airlines, Etihad Airways, Virgin Australia)?
Please provide your Fortune Wings card number when booking your flight or handling check-in formalities.
If your new points fail to show up on your Fortune Wings account, please fax or email us ffp@hnair.com a copy of your flight tickets or call +86 898 95339-4 for points retro-crediting within 180 days starting from the next day of your flight. Please preserve your boarding pass and a copy of your ticket until your points are correctly credited to your account.
5.12 Can I receive FWC Points for other passengers?
No, passenger name must match your profile name.
5.13 Can I receive Points for two different frequent flyer programs at the same time?
No, FWC points can only be awarded to one frequent flyer programme at a time. Therefore, you will need to quote your preferred programme's membership number when you make your reservations and present the same membership card at check-in, in order for eligible flights to be credited to your account.
5.14 What is a codeshare flight, and will I earn FWC Points from that?
A codeshare flight is a flight marketed by one airline and operated by another airline. You can only earn FWC Points on Fortune Wings Club partner airlines and member airlines operating flight.
5.15 How do I earn Fortune Wings Points for activities other than flying?
Fortune Wings Club Members can earn FWC Award Points when you pay by our co-brand credit cards, staying at our participating hotels or spending with our partner merchants.
Terms & conditions of Merchant may apply to the Fortune Wings Points accumulation, please refer to the HKA website or the relevant Merchants for details.
5.16 Why have my Fortune Wings Points from non-airline partners not been credited to my
account?
- Ensure that you quote your membership number during the purchase
- You did not via the dedicated website with such offer
- It is also possible that the service or rate you paid was not eligible for accruing Fortune Wings Points.

6.1 How do I redeem the Hong Kong airlines flight award using my Fortune Wings Points?
You can redeem Hong Kong Airlines flight award in the following ways:
1. Visit Hong Kong Airlines website and click on "Award Tickets" or
2. Click on "Fortune Wings Club" in mobile APP; or
3. Contact our Customer Service Hotline at +852 3916 3666 (Hong Kong SAR)/ +86 898 950717 (Mainland China) or email to ffp@hnair.com

6.2 Can I book a flight award ticket with a date beyond my Fortune Wings Points expiry date?
Flight awards are valid for 1 year from the date of issue unless otherwise stated, but the tickets must be issued before the expiry date of your Points. You can book on any dates within the ticket validity, subject to award seat availability.
6.3 Can I change my dates of travel after my flight award has been issued?
Yes, your redemption ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Please contact us 2 hours prior originally booked flight departure time for rebooking. You may change your travel dates subject to seat availability at the same class.

6.4 How can I redeem flight award for my families or friends?
You can add up to 10 nominees to enjoy the flight awards. To update your nominee list, please log on to your account and then click "Profile", "Manage Nominee". Please note that it takes 30 days for a nominee list to become effective.
6.5 Do Children need the same points to redeem Flight Award or Award Upgrade as adults?
Yes, a child nominee is treated the same as an adult nominee and requires the same FWC points for award travel.

6.6 How can I request an Award Upgrade?
When you purchased a Hong Kong Airlines Economy Class ticket in selected fare classes, you can redeem an upgrade to Business Class by FWC Points subject to award seat availability. Please contact our Hong Kong Airlines Customer Service Hotline 24hours before your flight. Please be reminded that Points accrual will be based on original booking class for any kinds of upgrade.
6.7 What else can I redeem with my Fortune Wings Points apart from flight awards?
Lifestyle awards include car rentals, hotel, holidays, dining vouchers and a lot more. Simply visit Fortune Wings Club website to redeem the award(s) you desire, please read the terms and conditions and delivery arrangements.
6.8 How can I refund award ticket?
If members cancel the flight for their own reasons, the redeemed FWC points will not be refunded. Fortune Wings Club may refund the government tax and Hong Kong Airport tax.
Please submit your refund application to HKA website. Please carefully read the refund instructions before submitting a refund application. Once you have submitted your refund application, your seat will be cancelled immediately and your ticket will be cancelled irreversibly.
Please make sure that your ticket is still OPEN FOR USE, and the ticket has not expired.
