Passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents required for travel from departure country to destination country, or any transit country. Many countries additionally require 3 to 6 months validity on passports.
2. Baggage allowance
Your free baggage allowance will vary, depending on the type of flight ticket you purchased. You can check your e-ticket or receipt for more details.

3. Lost property

4. Lithium batteries and portable battery chargers
Spare lithium batteries and portable battery chargers are only allowed in cabin baggage. There is also a restriction on the number of batteries or chargers you can bring.

5. Photo and video taking at the airport and inside cabin
Please refrain from taking photos and videos of other passengers without their consent, as well as our cabin crew and ground staff while they are on duty. Your understanding is highly appreciated.
6. Airport check-in
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow sufficient time for check-in and baggage drop.

8. Chaning passenger after ticket issued
Changing the passenger name to another person is not permitted.
9. Name Correction Policy Name Correction Policy
1. To protect passenger security and ticket integrity, tickets are not transferable and changing the passenger to another person is not permitted
2. We may allow name corrections only under the following circumstances, subject to verification and approval:
- Title or gender correction
- Correcting an inverted name order (given name and family name), provided the name components remain the same
- Adding or deleting middle name
- Changes to the given name and family name due to different spellings of the same pronunciation
- Correcting typos in the given name, family name, and middle name limited to up to 3 letters
- Updates required for legal reasons (e.g., marriage, divorce, adoption, etc.)
All requests are subject to applicable fare rules, supporting documentation requirements, and our review. Fees and fare differences may apply where applicable.
If your ticket was purchased through a travel agency or a third-party website, please contact them for assistance with the change. If your ticket was purchased through Hong Kong Airlines’ official channels, please contact our Customer Service Centre.
