According to the latest COVID-19 testing and documentation requirements announced by the HKSAR Government, Hong Kong Airlines passengers in transit through Hong Kong must ensure they comply with the latest transit requirements before they travel:

 - Hold a confirmed onward ticket or boarding pass

 - Ensure baggage is checked through to their onward destination


- Fulfil the entry requirements of their final destination


- Connecting time is within 24 hours


- Passengers from overseas places or Taiwan in transit through Hong Kong are no longer required to hold a negative result proof of COVID-19 test


Transfer service at HKIA for passengers travelling from Mainland China has resumed from 15 August 2020 until further notice while transit services to destinations in Mainland China remain unavailable.


Sea-to-air transfer ferry service from Shenzhen Shekou Port to SkyPier of HKIA resumes from 23 March 2022. Other ferry services from Mainland China and Macao ports remain unavailable. Air-to-sea transfer services to Mainland China and Macao ports also remain unavailable until further notice.
