Hong Kong Airlines Celebrates First Flight to Phuket

Hong Kong Airlines celebrated its inaugural flight to Phuket yesterday at both Hong Kong International Airport and Phuket International Airport, marking the successful launch of its third route of the year. The four-times weekly Phuket service strengthens the airline’s presence in Thailand and reaffirms its commitment to expanding the regional markets and offering more choices for travellers. 

 

Celebrations were held at both Hong Kong International Airport and Phuket International Airport, to commemorate the official launch of the route. Hong Kong Airlines President Mr Jeff Sun officiated the ceremony, together with representatives from the Hong Kong Airport Authority, and the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Hong Kong) Ms Naparat Vudhivad.

The airline's enthusiastic team shared the momentous occasion by presenting souvenirs at the boarding gate, taking photos and mingling with passengers.

HX741 arrived in Phuket after less than four hours of flight time.

 

Mr Jeff Sun said, "As the largest island in Thailand, Phuket is widely regarded as one of the most enduring holiday hotspots. We are thrilled to add this vacation paradise to our expanding regional network, allowing more connection services and convenient travel options.
