As the Lunar New Year holiday travel season is approaching, we anticipate significant travel congestion and expect longer processing times for check-in, security, and immigration at airports. To avoid delays on your journey, we strongly advise all passengers to prepare thoroughly before departure and review the following information:
1. Travel Documents and Destination Entry requirements
Before you travel, please ensure your passport or other travel documents are valid and in good condition. Check visa requirements and other entry regulations for your destination well in advance and complete any necessary applications.
2. Check-in Procedures
Check-in close 40 minutes before departure. You can check in via:
- Airport Check-in Counter: Please arrive at the counter at least 90 minutes before your flight’s departure time
- online check-in or Airport self-check-in kiosks: Self-service baggage drop-off is available
- Airport Express check-in at Hong Kong and Kowloon Stations: check-in conveniently before arriving at the airport
3. Special Arrangements for Hong Kong Airport Check-in Counters
To improve efficiency, check-in counters for some flights departing from Hong Kong will be temporarily relocated. Between 06:15 – 09:00 (Hong Kong time), please proceed to counter G19-23 for check-in:
