Corporate Social Responsibility
Hong Kong Airlines is proud to be part of the Hong Kong community. As one of the key players in the local aviation industry, we are committed to leveraging our resources to make positive contributions to society while sustaining our long-term growth and development.
Over the years, Hong Kong Airlines has developed signature Corporate Social Responsibility programmes to nurture young people who are passionate about aviation. We have also sponsored thousands of tickets to students, offering them opportunities to travel so that they can explore the world and expand their horizons. Our employees also take up volunteering activities, reaching out to the less advantaged groups in Hong Kong.

Launched in 2014, “Embrace the World” is Hong Kong Airlines’ flagship student sponsorship programme, with more than 4,000 round-trip tickets distributed to schools from kindergarten to university, education organizations and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to date. This initiative aims to enhance the educational experience of young people through travelling. Whether it’s for a study tour or a competition overseas, we believe that the international exposure that students get from travelling will shape their young mindset in the long run. |

Donations |
||
As a responsible airline, we always strive to reduce wastage and disposal of obsolete or surplus items. From time to time, Hong Kong Airlines has been making donations of obsolete inflight items to help the community. Donations include consumable items such as tea bags and beverages to food banks, who help to distribute them to the needy. We have also included donation of blankets to animal shelters, to ensure that animals under care can stay warm in cooler seasons. |
