Family Account is a shared account for family members, managed by the head of the household. With a Family Account, you can easily plan family trips, pool points together and enjoy the benefits of redeeming rewards as a group.

Promotion details

Effective family accounts, including the family account owner and members, two or more persons who travel together on Hong Kong Airlines flights with accumulative classes will be entitled to an additional 10% FWC Spending Bonus Points as a companion bonus. 

Promotion Period 

1 January 2025 to 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive, Hong Kong time)

Hong Kong Airlines (HX) operated flights 

Business: C/D/J/Z^ Class 

Economy:  Y/B/H/K/L/M/N/S/X/Q/T Class 

^Remarks: Business Class redemption tickets (Z class) are not eligible for points and segments accrual. 

Notice  

1. Bonus Calculation: Family Account bonus points = (Total base points + elite member bonus points earned by traveling members on the same flight) * 10%.  
2. Bonus points are credited to the Family Account points pool. "Traveling together" is defined as having the same flight date and flight number for active members within the Family Account.  
3. To ensure accurate bonus accrual, please check individual account flight records after completing the journey. If points are not credited, submit a retro claim within 15 calendar days of the flight. Failure to submit a claim within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the bonus points.  
4. Bonus points are not applicable for charter flights, codeshare flights, flights taken before Family Account or member activation, all types of complimentary tickets, award tickets (including standard and flexible award tickets), group tickets, Golden Deer Card, or AirPass products.  
5. In case of any disputes, Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right of final decision.
