Section 1: Terms and Conditions for Newsletter Subscription Promotion Code Campaign for New Subscribers

  1. This newsletter subscription campaign for new subscribers (“Campaign”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By subscribing Hong Kong Airlines’ newsletter (“Newsletter”) from 8 December 2020 to 31 December 2020 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) via https://hx.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/newsletter/subscribe, you shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The period of this Campaign is from 8 December 2020 to 31 December 2020 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) (“the Period”).
  3. Customers who have newly subscribed the newsletter via dedicated website during the Period shall be within 31 working days given a promotion code valued at HKD400 (or equivalent in other currencies, subject to currency fluctuation) (“Code”), which includes a value of HKD200 for purchasing flights ticket(s) of Hong Kong Airlines; and the remaining value of HKD200 for reservation of hotel (minimum of 2 nights at a 3-star (or above) hotel) via HKA Holidays.
  4. From 00:00 on 8 December 2020 onwards (Hong Kong time) until the end of the Period, customers who are the first 25 subscribers (only applies to those customers who subscribed the Newsletter via dedicated website) on each date during the Period shall be within 7 working days given another promotion code valued at HKD200 (or equivalent in other currencies, subject to currency fluctuation) for purchasing duty free products at Hong Kong Airlines SkyShop website, in addition to the Code.
  5. Customers who re-subscribe the newsletter are not eligible to join this Campaign.
  6. The use of the Code is subject to the General Terms and Conditions (https://hx.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/newsletter/terms).
  7. This Campaign is only applicable to Hong Kong Airlines official website in applicable locales (HKSAR traditional Chinese and English locales).
  8. Hong Kong Airlines will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
  9. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall confer any third party rights or benefits.
  10. Hong Kong Airlines reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  11. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
  12. In the event of any dispute regarding any of these Terms and Conditions, the decision of Hong Kong Airlines shall be final.
  13. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.



Section 2: General Terms and Conditions for Use of Hong Kong Airlines Code

  1. This Hong Kong Airlines’ Promotion Code (“HKA Code”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By purchasing Hong Kong Airlines (HX) air ticket and applying the designated HKA Code, you shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. The HKA Code is valid from 20 November 2020 to 15 January 2021 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) (“Code Validity Period”) only. The travel period is from 01 March 2021 to 15 December 2021 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time).
  3. The HKA Code is only applicable to Hong Kong Airlines’ official website https://www.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/hx/homepage
  4. Passenger is applicable for a discount of HKD200 on the net fare of the air ticket but not the applicable taxes or surcharges.
  5. The HKA Code is applicable for Hong Kong Airlines (HX) economy class and/or business class (if applicable) and one-way and round trip (if applicable) air ticket for all origins/destinations which are marketed and operated by Hong Kong Airlines as scheduled from time to time.
  6. Air ticket purchased with application of the HKA Code is valid on selected flights and dates. No-show fee, re-booking fee, re-routing fee and refund fee of the air ticket purchased with the HKA Code are subject to fare rules as applicable to each origin/destination. The air ticket is subject to availability and blackout dates apply.
  7. The HKA Code is not available for marketed flights, special flights, chartered flight or code-share flights.
  8. The HKA Code should be inserted at the time of purchasing the air ticket via the designated website; otherwise the discount cannot be enjoyed. The Code will not be accepted after the transaction.
  9. The HKA Code is only applicable when your travel start date and end date are set within the travel period stated as above.
  10. Hong Kong Airlines will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
  11. Bookings are not completed or accepted by Hong Kong Airlines until payment has been received and a booking reference has been issued.
  12. The HKA Code cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion code or other offers.
  13. The HKA Code is not available to use for infant (aged below 2) ticket.
  14. The Code cannot be redeemed for cash, credits, other goods or services. No change will be given.
  15. The air ticket with the HKA Code is subject to Hong Kong Airlines’ General Conditions of Carriage and booking agreement, subject to change from time to time without prior notice.
  16. The application of the HKA Code is subject to change without prior notice and liability.
  17. Fortune Wings Club (FWC) members are eligible for FWC points accrual. Point credit will be based on actual flown distance and booking class and is subject to FWC’s terms and conditions which is available at https://www.hongkongairlines.com/en_HK/FFP/earn/earn_hx.
  18. This application of the HKA Code only applies to adult and child (aged 2 or above and below 12) tickets.
  19. You are advised to check with the latest Government outbound/inbound travel alert or immigration restrictions for both departure/arrival destinations before planning your trip, including but not limited to those measures in relation to COVID-19. You acknowledge that such measures may be adopted rapidly which sometimes occur during your travel.

Section 3: General Terms and Conditions for Use of HKA Holidays Code

  1. These HKA Holidays’ Promotion Code (“HKAH Code”) is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using the designated HKAH Code to purchase hotel accommodation via HKA Holidays official website (https://www.hkaholidays.com/en/), you shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
  2. The HKAH Code is valid from 20 November 2020 to 15 January 2021 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time) only. The hotel stay is from 1 March 2021 to 15 December 2021 (both dates inclusive) (Hong Kong time).
  3. The HKAH Code is applicable for a discount of HKD200 on the net hotel accommodation fare but not the applicable taxes or surcharges.
  4. The HKAH Code can only be used to purchase with a minimum net spending of HKD3,000 or above (or equivalent value) and a minimum stay of hotel (with 3 stars or above) for two consecutive nights in a single transaction.
  5. The HKAH Code is only applicable to HKA Holidays’ official website (https://www.hkaholidays.com/en/) only.
  6. The HKAH Code should be inserted at the time of reserving the hotel accommodation via HKA Holidays’ official website; otherwise the HKAH Code cannot be redeemed. The HKAH Code will not be accepted after the transaction.
  7. The HKAH Code is only applicable when your travel start date and end date are set within the travel period stated.
  8. HKA Holidays will not be liable for any matter or loss in relation to any error or omission due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
  9. Bookings are not completed or accepted by HKA Holidays until payment has been received and a booking reference has been issued.
  10. The hotel accommodation reserved with application of the HKAH Code is valid on selected dates. In the event of any change, HKA Holidays will charge for an administrative fee for any changes request.
  11. The HKAH Code cannot be redeemed for cash, credits, other goods or services. No change will be given.
  12. The hotel accommodation purchased with the HKAH Code is subject to HKA Holidays’ booking agreement and may change without prior notice.
  13. The application of the HKAH Code is subject to change without prior notice and liability.
  14. The HKAH Code cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion code or other offers.

Section 4: Terms and Conditions for Use of Hong Kong Airlines SkyShop’s (“HKA SkyShop”) e-Voucher

  1. The HKA SkyShop e-Voucher is only applicable to Hong Kong Airlines SkyShop official website https://www.hkaskyshop.com/.
  2. This campaign cannot be applied to pre-order or inflight transaction of duty-free products.
  3. The e-Voucher is valid from 8 December 2020 to 31 January 2021 at 00:00 to 23:59 (both days inclusive).
  4. Only one e-Voucher can be used for each transaction.
  5. This e-Voucher can only be used in a single transaction with spending at least HKD880.
  6. The e-Voucher can be used to purchase HKA SkyShop items only. (Note: This e-voucher shall not be applicable or be used in the sales of Liquors and all Tobacco Products.)
  7. Free delivery will be provided by using this e-Voucher.
  8. Delivery will be arranged only in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
  9. This e-Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion.
  10. This e-Voucher is non-transferable, non-saleable or non-redeemable for cash. No change will be given.
  11. All items are subject to stock availability.
  12. No e-Voucher will be re-issued in case of loss.
