Award ticket Rebooking and Refund Policy
- All Award Ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise specified.
- Passenger’s name and flight segments of all Award Ticket cannot be changed after issuance. Tickets cannot be used for endorsement to another airlines.
- Passenger shall travel in sequence in accordance with the itinerary; otherwise ticket will be invalid and fare of the unused sector will not be refunded.
- Rebooking shall be made prior to scheduled flight departure time, otherwise passenger will be considered having no-showed and the ticket will be considered as used. Rebooking is subject to availability within the ticket’s validity period at the time of rebooking and service fee shall apply if using Customer Service Centre, airport counters or local sales offices. - In the circumstances where cancellation is requested by passenger, the points will not be returned. Only unused government imposed taxes and Hong Kong Airport Passenger Security Charge (Q) maybe refunded. Please refer to the Hong Kong Airlines Refund Policy for more information.
- Award Ticket and/or Award Upgrade is non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed to cash.
- In the event that a flight is cancelled by the operator, passenger may apply for involuntary cancellation. It is the responsibility of the passenger to contact Fortune Wings Club or Hong Kong Airlines Customer Service Centre within one month of the original scheduled departure date to make changes to their ticket or have the points returned. No change can be made and points will be forfeited if the passenger does not make the request within the specified period.
- Points can only be returned into the membership account from which it was originally deducted.
