Entry requirement

Applicable to:

-South Korean nationals

-Traveller with a valid visitor visa

-Traveller with a Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA)

 

Boarding requirement

-From 3 September 2022, all passengers are no longer required to provide the negative result proof of COVID-19 test (i.e. RT-PCR, LAMP, TMA, SDA or NEAR, etc.) issued within 48 hours prior to departure. Passengers are recommended to register for the Quarantine Information Pre-entry System (Q-CODE) before departure and present the generated QR code upon arrival.

 

Testing requirements

-From 1 October 2022, all passengers are no longer required to undergo RT-PCR test on the day of arrival.

Vaccination record

-From 8 June 2022, passengers entering Korea are not required to undergo quarantine regardless of their vaccination status.

-Passengers who have completed their vaccination in South Korea must present either proof of a South Korean vaccination certificate or a registration in the South Korean COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate System (COOV) upon arrival.

-For passengers who have their vaccination record issued outside of South Korea, they must directly input the vaccination record into the Quarantine Information Pre-entry System (Q-CODE) before departure and scan the issued QR code upon arrival.

-Passengers without QR code will need to fill out the Health Declaration Form.

Hong Kong Airlines staff will perform document checks at the airport to confirm if passengers are eligible to travel to destinations with restrictions in place. Passengers without checked baggage and holding mobile or self-print boarding passes will be subject to document check before boarding.

Passengers will also be asked to declare their travel history to help us ensure eligibility to travel.
