Hong Kong Airlines is reinstating its exclusive direct service to Saipan for its customers. Operating twice weekly between Hong Kong and Saipan International Airports with Airbus A330 aircraft, the resumption of this route establishes the carrier as the only local airline to offer direct flights on this route.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) is comprised of 14 tropical islands, with Saipan serving as the capital and the largest island. Saipan is renowned for its year-round sunshine, crystal-clear waters, and a plethora of water sports, and is home to numerous diving hotspots and natural limestone caves, such as the Blue Grotto. The white sandy beaches of Managaha Island on the west side are akin to a paradise on earth, thus earning it the nickname 'Lover's Island'. The moving history of Banzai Cliff at the northern tip, combined with the breathtaking vistas where the sky meets the sea, is truly awe-inspiring.

Since the inauguration of the Saipan route in 2016, Hong Kong Airlines has continuously offered passengers more options for travelling to tropical islands. The company is delighted to have the opportunity to resume operations on this route after its suspension at the end of 2019. With the recommencement of flights to Saipan, Hong Kong Airlines will continue to expand its network in the Asia-Pacific region, offering passengers a more diverse range of travel options and further consolidating Hong Kong's position as a major international aviation hub.
