Adjustment of Check-in Counter and Smart Check-in Kiosk Closure Time for Hong Kong Flight Departures

To ensure punctual flight departures and deliver an enhanced travel experience, effective from 30 March 2025, the closure time of our check-in counter and smart check-in kiosks at Hong Kong International Airport will be adjusted to 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Passengers are strongly advised to allow sufficient time for check-in, baggage tag printing, and self-service bag drop.

    

We also encourage passengers to check in online, available 48 hours before departure. Meanwhile, our in-town check-in service at Airport Express Hong Kong Station and Kowloon Station remains unchanged, opening daily from 6:00am. Passengers may check in 24 hours to 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time and should ensure that they leave ample time to travel to the airport.

     

This new arrangement only applies to check-in counters and smart check-in kiosks at Hong Kong International Airport and does not currently include other airports. As the check-in closure times in different airports may vary, please check the relevant check-in time in advance at your departure airport.
